On my recent trip to Boston, we happened upon the Harvard Marching Band at Harvard Square in Cambridge – what a treat! Your ears do not need adjusting – they are, in fact, chanting in Latin. Jane, Emma, and I followed them down the block a bit after the fact – although Emma and I, caught up in the camera work, lost Jane. Jane went pied-piper on us and followed the band a few blocks. But you can’t blame her, who doesn’t love a good marching band! Apparently Emma, who felt the need to comment on the size of their marching band. How rude!

Stopped in for some lunch at the Rosebud Diner for that classic diner car experience. Aside from the flat screen TV in the corner the experience was pretty authentic, from the waitress that you assume has worked here for the duration of the establishment’s existence pushing the daily special to the signage hanging around the room. I do love me a lunch counter. The second video is a down and dirty review of my tasty marinated turkey tips and Jane’s grilled cheese.
