Even something as mundane as a moving sidewalk at the National Gallery of Art has the potential to be a piece of art including, one of my favorites, this installation: Multiverse, a light sculpture created by American artist Leo Villareal especially for the National Gallery of Art. One of my favorite pasttimes is trying to guess how many LED’s were used. Can you guess? Give it a visit, and give it a shot. The video gets more exciting about 40 seconds in, I promise.

This is the cascading waterfall inside the concourse at the National Gallery. Water cascades down the glass creating a pleasant dining experience at the nearby Cascade Cafe.
