A beautiful day here in DC yielded a perfect opportunity to hit up the National Arboretum. A stop at the Koi garden, a walk through the bonsai and penjing exhibit, a visit to the historic columns, and traipsing through a number of gardens ensued. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a respite from the traffic and hustle of the concrete jungle.
